Burning Questions that your fellow CWA course students asked before grabbing their access
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by everything I'm going to learn and execute inside this program. Are you sure I can do this?
Let's be totally honest.
· Yes, there are many things to learn and implement in this course.
· Yes, it’s probably going to be a little uncomfortable at times.
· Yes, these are life-long skills that you’ll have to practice and refer back to.
But here's the thing. You can absolutely do this as long as you're willing to invest a couple of hours for each module, every week and reach out for help when you get stuck. If you're reading this, we're sure you actually want to put in the effort and feel like you've learned the life-changing outcomes that a successful relationship can produce. You want to make sure you're in the right place and that the effort you invest will move you closer to your desired goal. That's our promise to you. You won't be asked to do exercises or work that isn't moving you toward your goal.
Should I invest in other books or courses to make this work?
CWA is a stand-alone course. We may talk about and suggest other books, authors, or support material, but none of that is required to excel in this course. We've taken your valuable time into account and have made sure that everything you need is convenient and in one place.
Do I need technology skills to take this course?

I’m fairly new to my serious relationship. Will this be too advanced for me?
Congratulations on finding your significant other! While this course is configured for couples who have been in a relationship for several years, we believe understanding and practicing these concepts from the beginning of any relationship will enhance how you talk with and treat each other.
My spouse doesn’t want to take this course. Can I do this solo?
CWA is designed for one or both people in a relationship to benefit from the teaching. Each module and exercise is laid out for one or two participants. Those students who have used these tools and techniques have found them to be valuable in both scenarios.
Is this course designed for people who believe in the teachings of the Bible, or can anyone benefit?
Mike and Susan are both Christians and believe that their faith in Jesus profoundly influences their lives and how they relate to one another in their marriage. However, God’s principles for great relationships apply to any person, no matter your spiritual beliefs. There will be Bible scripture referenced in the course, but you will not be coerced in any way to take a Christian viewpoint.
Why should I take this course instead of seeing a traditional couple's counselor?
Both are good options. Mike is a Licensed Professional Counselor, so everything you get in this course comes through the lens of professional counseling. However, many people find it hard to commit to months of weekly visits that cost them hundreds or thousands of dollars. Communicate Without Arguing is designed as an intensive 5-week course to get you across the finish line fast but without being overwhelmed.
Do I have what it takes to change my habits (ways)? We’ve been in this mess for years.
We believe that couples start out doing the best they know how. They treat each other how they’ve seen other couples act. That can be good — or not. Not everyone has the opportunity to live within families or observe couples who know how to love each other well. We continue to learn how to love each other better every day. That being said, anyone who is willing to listen to the videos, do the exercises, and put in the effort can improve their relationship. Is this one course going to change your marriage into “Happily Ever After”? Probably not. But what it will do is give you proven skills, tools, and inspiration to:
· Stop hurting each other.
· Implement a safe environment.
· Determine why fights happen and how to minimize the harshness and damage that can last forever.
· Communication skills and techniques that build trust.
· Talk to your partner with love.
This course seems a little pricey. Why so much?
In the grand scheme of life, it’s not actually that much. Traditional counseling can cost over $150 an hour. And with your purchase of Communicate Without Arguing, you have lifetime access to the worksheets, modules, and videos from this course. We consider communication one of the cornerstones of great relationships. Without good communication, it’s hard to progress toward your goals as a couple. This creates frustration and stress. That frustration and stress cost you peace of mind and cause overall dissatisfaction. Worst case scenario, your lack of communication leads to a divorce. According to Google, the average divorce costs between $15,000 and $30,000. Not to mention the emotional well-being lost due to a break-up.
When I join Communicate Without Arguing, will I have immediate access to all the modules, videos, and worksheets?
You’ll be given access to all themodules so you can move at your own pace. per.
What if I fall behind in the course? What then?
You’re never behind. Just keep moving forward with each lesson. And if you need to, feel free to ask questions and stay involved. You have email access to both Mike and Susan to ask questions along the way.
Will Mike or Susan be available and accessible if I get stuck?
We have designed several ways to make sure you get your questions answered and don’t waste time feeling stuck.
